Sourcing Far East does collect information voluntarily provided to us on our website, via contact, registration, shipping and order forms. We may utilize this information to keep you informed of our services and industry advances. Our purposes for collection of your personal information may include (but is not limited to) billing, customer service issues, network management, customer surveys, special offers and new product updates.

We do not sell, or share your personal information with any other companies (other than our shipping partners for us to deliver your products) without the informed consent of the consumer (except as required by law).

As technologies continue to change, we make every effort to keep your personal information private. We reserve the right to change the technology by which we gather data. How do you use my information for marketing purposes?

When you sign up to receive any of our communications, we will use the information you provide to us, usually just your name and email address, to enable us to send you our communications you’ve requested.

How does this affect other emails I receive from you?

Comments or Testimonials

If visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Media

EXIF GPS data is usually automatically removed from your images when you upload them. However, if the location is particularly sensitive, please avoid uploading images with identifiable landmarks or embedded location data. See our image copyright terms.

How long we retain your data

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.
